Trails and Nature

A red-marked hiking route measuring 12.5 km runs through the Lužnice Valley from Tábor to the ruins of Příběnice. The Příběnice hiking route begins in front of Tábor railway station.

Kozí Hrádek is associated with the emergence of the Hussite tradition in the region; Jan Hus stayed there. From Sezimovo Ústí 2, Kozí Hrádek can be reached via a red-marked trail in less than an hour.

Svákov comprises preserved ramparts of a prehistoric Slavic hillfort and the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows.

Chýnov Cave was opened to the public in 1868 and is described as the first cave in the country to be opened to visitors. The Klokoty pilgrimage site is a national cultural monument and a destination for walks.
