Želeč combines wellness, sport, nature and culture in a variety of ways. At Wellness Želeč, the relaxation pool features a counter-current system and massage jets. The facilities also include a whirlpool with a water temperature of 36 °C, as well as a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna.

Cycling

The “Na Borkovická blata za lidovou architekturou” cycling route passes through Želeč. It is 69 km long; an alternative route covers 59 km.

Nature

Kozlov is a protected natural monument in the cadastral area of Želeč u Tábora. The natural monument comprises a wet cultural landscape meadow with numerous protected and endangered plant species. The population of the broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis) is particularly abundant: its density reaches up to 10 specimens per square metre.

Sport

The Želeč sports complex comprises a tennis court and two multi-purpose sports courts with synthetic surfacing. The two multi-purpose sports courts can be used for volleyball, nohejbal, floorball and small-sided football. Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., they are free of charge, require no prior reservation and are open to the public; afterwards, access is only possible with a free reservation.

Culture

Špejchar Želeč has been closed since 1 September 2024; visits are possible by prior arrangement. The Museum of Agricultural Technology at Špejchar Želeč displays more than one hundred old agricultural machines, as well as numerous devices, tools and aids.
