Holiday apartments and houses in Revnov

Several cycling routes pass through Řevnov. The signposted 48-km cycling tour “Za Jistebnickým kancionálem” runs from Tábor via Chotoviny and Řevnov to Borotín. The Tábor–Prčice–Tábor cycling route also runs via Chotoviny and Řevnov. Cycling Route No. 11 passes through Řevnov; from there, it follows a dirt track towards the ruins of Borotín Castle and the municipality of the same name.

Culture and village character

The first written record of Řevnov dates from 1542. There is a bell in the tower of the chapel in Řevnov. Events held regularly in Řevnov include “Loučení s létem”.

The architectural landmarks in Řevnov include the former school No. 37, a chapel, building No. 36, the groups of rural buildings Nos. 7, 8 and 13, as well as Nos. 11, 18 and 28, and the group of folk architecture buildings Nos. 22, 23, 24 and 32. The former school in Řevnov, house No. 37, was built in 1912. A memorial plaque commemorating the former headmaster Ludvík Bednář is attached to the building. The cadastral area of Řevnov lies within the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. A dirt track from the village square in Řevnov passes a wayside cross and offers a view of Chotoviny. The well-maintained chapel in Řevnov has a bench in front of the building where visitors can rest.
