The Černická obora Nature Park extends into part of Dudov’s cadastral area and covers an area of 26.6 km². Dudov is surrounded by a forest massif adjoining the Černická obora.

History and Architectural Culture

Dudov dates its origins back to 1367. The village is one of those studied as part of a survey along the ethnographic boundary between Blata and Kozácko.

Dudov is characterised by small farmsteads with simple designs and a residential section oriented with its gable end facing the street. Traditional buildings in Dudov are often single-storey and are complemented at the rear by a barn usually positioned transversely to the residential building.
