Košice U Soběslavi reveals its cultural side at the Chapel of Saint Anne in Košice: it was built in 1884 under Mayor Václav Sýkora and is locally referred to as the Church of Saint Anne.

Nature

The Borecké duby are a protected group of trees that was first placed under protection on 3 February 1998 and comprises six trees; they are protected because of their impressive growth, age and aesthetic value. From Košice, the Borecké duby can be reached via the road to Borek. The bluethroat occurs in the area of Koberný Pond and in the area of Hejtman Pond.

History

The original owners of the village of Košice belonged to Choustník Castle. The period of the Napoleonic Wars is also associated with several named places: in 1890, water erosion exposed a second burial site for French soldiers from the period of the Napoleonic Wars at V Podsedlí. During the Napoleonic Wars, there was a field hospital at U Malovců to which wounded French soldiers were brought. A cross by the road to Tučapy stands at one of the burial sites from the period of the Napoleonic Wars discovered in Košice.

Local development also includes the former post office in Tučapy, which was later replaced by a post office in Košice.
