The historically evolved development around the village square of Vesce is considered the town's architecturally valuable core and a cultural asset. Vesce preserves an intact urban structure and a typical rural landscape with original buildings.

Culture and townscape

On the north side of Vesce's main street, a continuous row of farmsteads is considered architecturally valuable. The chapel in Vesce can be rented for wedding ceremonies.

Landscape and paths

Vesce is one of the settlements of Soběslavská Blata. These are located on the left bank of the Lužnice between Veselí and Soběslav.

The best-preserved part of Borkovická Blata was declared a nature reserve in 1980. The Borkovická Blata nature trail is 5.5 km long and runs mostly along wooden boardwalks.

The “Most Beautiful Folk Baroque – Soběslavská Blata” route runs through Vesce along cycle path 1136.
