Šebířov combines a distinctive ecclesiastical townscape with the Vlašimská Blanice nature monument and the “Na konci světa” cycle circuit. The Church of Saint Gall is particularly prominent: it stands on an enclosed hill and is an important architectural and urban landmark of the municipality of Šebířov.

Culture

The originally medieval Church of Saint Gall preserves parts of the oldest religious complex, including the enclosing masonry of the nave and the western part of the presbytery. Together with its cemetery, mortuary chapel and surrounding wall, it is considered a cultural monument.

The village chapel of Šebířov has an octagonal floor plan. Its hipped roof is topped by a small belfry; the chapel was probably built around the middle of the 19th century.

Nature and activities

The Vlašimská Blanice nature monument extends into the Šebířov cadastral area. The “Na konci světa” cycle circuit runs through Šebířov and this nature monument, and is estimated to take three hours. The starting point of the circuit can be reached by car or bus.

For sports activities, Šebířov has a multi-purpose sports court next to the building of the former kindergarten No. 77, in the immediate vicinity of a grass football pitch. Admission is free; users are asked to submit a reservation form. The court is equipped with posts and nets for volleyball, tennis, nohejbal and badminton.
