Chýnov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Chýnov has a painting of the Holy Trinity on the main altar, painted by Jan Jiří Heinsch in 1712. Kostel Nejsvětější Trojice is a single-nave building that was remodelled in the Baroque style between 1670 and 1679; the tower was added in 1727. The church’s Art Nouveau ensemble includes stained-glass windows from 1928–31, which, with two exceptions, depict Czech patron saints.

Culture

At the GHMP Bílek House, the permanent exhibition presents mainly works connected with the house in Chýnov. Most of them were created there in the late 1890s and during the first decade of the 20th century.

The “Foersterův Chýnov” music festival is a small South Bohemian festival of classical music and commemorates František Bílek and Josef Bohuslav Foerster. The concerts take place mainly in the Baroque Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Chýnov or in the studio of František Bílek’s villa.
