The Židova strouha Nature Monument encompasses part of the cadastral area of Hodonice u Bechyně. This protected natural area includes a deeply incised, gorge-like valley with entrenched meanders and water-eroded rock walls.

The Židova strouha geotope can be reached via a walkable tourist trail that runs more than 250 metres from the road. It stretches along the stream from the Hodonice–Nuzice field road to its confluence with the Lužnice; the section described lies between 0.8 km west and 2.5 km northwest of Hodonice.

Kopanina Hill [Hodonice u Bechyně] and the hill (K Čečkovu) [Březnice u Bechyně] are located in the vicinity of Hodonice. In the wider regional surroundings of Hodonice are Zdoba Mountain and Ulčí vrch Mountain.
