Chrbonín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary stands in the centre of Chrbonín. Its year of construction is unknown. It replaced an earlier bell tower at the crossroads near house number 30; repairs to the chapel were completed in August 2024.
Culture and History
Chrbonín originally belonged to the Choustník estate, after 1620 to the Radenín estate, and later, until 1878, to the Kolowrat-Krakowský family. The original settlement site is designated by the field name “V Liškách”.

A traditional Masopust celebration with a masked procession and an evening social gathering was planned in Chrbonín for 7 February 2026.
Landscape
The Chrbonínský potok stream flows through Chrbonín. East of Chrbonín, the Lípa rodáků memorial lime tree was planted on 8 May 1989. In the immediate vicinity of Chrbonín are Hora Mountain and the mountain (K Doubravě) [Radenín-Bítov]. The Podstupský vrch and Tlučin mountains are also located in the vicinity of Chrbonín.
