Doubí: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Doubí, the Lužnická cycle route passes the Doubí railway stop, turns onto a forest path and, after the forest section, approaches the Lužnice again.

Nature

The Lužnice Nature Monument extends into the cadastral territory of Doubí nad Lužnicí. It protects rare and endangered species and their habitats, including the critically endangered thick-shelled river mussel (Unio crassus), the endangered weatherfish (Misgurnus fossilis) and the critically endangered Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra).

Landscape

The surroundings of Doubí include the mountain “(K Doubravě) [Radenín-Bítov]”, Hora Mountain, Podstupský vrch Mountain and Hůrka Mountain.

Culture

The chapel “Kaple v Doubí” is located in the cadastral territory of Doubí nad Lužnicí. The Church of Svatá Anna is also located in the surroundings of Doubí.

On the way

The Klub českých turistů Tábor is planning a hike for 29 August 2026 from Doubí along the Lužnice to the Soukeník weir and onward to Sezimovo Ústí I.
