Myslkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

On the edge of the local forest, Myslkovice Jewish Cemetery lies along a blue-marked hiking trail. It was established before 1750; around 250 gravestones have been preserved there.

Culture and History

Myslkovice Chateau was originally built as a 17th-century fortress and was later converted into a Baroque chateau. Due to its preserved historical structures and architectural elements, it was listed as a cultural monument in 2016. The chateau includes a park with a pavilion.

In the western part of the village of Myslkovice, which is still called “Židovna” today, most of the Jewish houses have been preserved in converted form.

Hiking and Sport

The 41-kilometre KČT hiking route X leads from Krátošice via Myslkovice and Sedlečko to Soběslav.

After registering in the reservation system, visitors can use the multi-purpose sports field in Myslkovice for activities including tennis, handball, volleyball, nohejbal and small-sided football.

Festivals and Events

The Masopust in Myslkovice is a long-standing carnival tradition. The Masopust procession follows its usual route through the village; from 7 p.m., an evening celebration in the large hall of the chateau is also part of the event.

The Pivní slavnosti Myslkovice is an annual cultural event that attracts hundreds of visitors; in the chateau park, visitors could enjoy beer and food.
