Trails
Marked hiking trails run through Sudoměřice u Tábora. One of them is the 10 km-long route of the “Běh Údolím vzdechů” race, which leads through the valley of the Černý potok, along the Vzdechů Avenue and through the adjoining forests towards Moraveč.
The longer “Along the Romantic Trail around Borotín” route also begins at the Sudoměřice u Tábora railway station. From there, it initially follows the yellow trail markers; after 1.3 km, at the Černý les junction, it continues along the red trail markers to the ruins of Borotín Castle.
The Stříbrná osmička educational trail also begins in Sudoměřice u Tábora. It is a circular route approximately 50 km long that provides information about the historic silver-mining region between Tábor and Mladá Vožice.
Events
The “Běh Údolím vzdechů” race was held for the 10th time on 1 May. The Sudoměřický Triathlon has already had a 33rd and a 34th edition, making it a recurring local sporting event. On 11 July 2026, the Sudoměřický Triathlon reached its 37th edition.
Getting There
Sudoměřice u Tábora railway station is located on railway line 220 between Olbramovice and České Budějovice and provides step-free access to all platforms.
