Křtěnovice combines a documented history dating back to 1357 with the Křtěnovický Stream and its local ecological corridor LBK 12.
History and Architectural Heritage
The Chapel of Křtěnovice was probably built in the first half of the 20th century in a simple Neo-Romanesque style. A water mill stood in the centre of Křtěnovice for about a century.
Watercourses and Landscape
The Křtěnovický Stream is a tributary of the Novoveský Stream and rises west of Rašovice. Continuous riparian vegetation runs along the Křtěnovický Stream, while its floodplain is covered with meadow vegetation. The Křtěnovický Stream and its floodplain form the local ecological corridor LBK 12, which includes a number of smaller water bodies.
