Slapsko: Holiday apartments and houses

The entire administrative area of Slapsko is characterised by valuable landscapes and near-natural areas such as forests, bodies of water and small green spaces.

Nature

Čertova skála is a 9.14-hectare local biocentre in the narrow valley of the Podnebolický potok. It encompasses the wooded slopes of Hůrka and Čertova skála, as well as the grassy floodplain of the watercourse with a meadow of foxtail grass.

The 6.74-hectare local biocorridor Slapský potok is only of very limited functionality. Its north-eastern section runs along a small watercourse in a regulated and deepened bed, accompanied by autochthonous deciduous trees and cultivated meadow vegetation. The local Slapsko forest biocentre covers 6.77 hectares; its stands consist primarily of spruce, supplemented by pine, larch, beech, birch and individual oak trees.

In the immediate vicinity of Slapsko are the hills of V Horách [Šebířov-Křekovice] and Vrch [Miličín-Malovice]. In the wider regional surroundings are the mountains of Velký Blaník and Žebrák.

Culture and views

Kovářka lookout tower is a 13-metre-high stone tower with a steel spiral staircase consisting of 50 steps, leading to a wooden viewing platform. The tower also houses a blacksmithing museum with historical journeyman’s and apprenticeship certificates, photographs of former local forges and blacksmithing tools.

The wider regional surroundings of Slapsko also include Konopiště Castle and the Loreta, Svatý Jan and Svatá Anna churches.

Slapsko has suitable terrain for cycling tourism. The beautiful landscape of Slapsko invites visitors to go for walks.
