Hiking and other routes

Lot-et-Garonne offers 450 hiking routes. In addition, there are 4,870 kilometres of marked trails, 450 hiking loops, five long-distance hiking trails of the GR type and 49 Terra Aventura routes.

The GR 654 crosses Lot-et-Garonne for just under 150 kilometres through valleys and orchards. The GR 652 runs for just under 130 kilometres in the département. The Canal des 2 Mers à vélo crosses Lot-et-Garonne for 87 kilometres and includes a family-friendly section of a voie verte. Four equestrian routes cross the département.

The Voie Verte de la Vallée de la Baïse crosses six municipalities over 27 kilometres.

Cycle paths and connections

The Lot-et-Garonne section of the Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo uses a voie verte reserved for non-motorised vehicles. The Lot-et-Garonne section of the Vallée du Lot à Vélo runs along gently sloping minor roads and sections of a voie verte.

The Clairac–Aiguillon route connects the Canal des 2 Mers à vélo with the Vallée du Lot à vélo. The Scandibérique crosses Lot-et-Garonne for approximately 90 kilometres between the vineyards of Buzet and Armagnac. Luggage transport is available along the Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo.
