Nature and Activities

The Ranch du Bel Air offers riding lessons from the age of three. Horse rides are also organised to explore the landscape around Labretonie. Hiking trails start there and lead through deciduous and coniferous forests, orchards, rolling landscapes and past mills.

During the school holidays, the ranch organises holiday camps for children and young people. The focus is on horses, practical activities and nature.

The equestrian centre offers accommodation in its stopover gîte for hikers, mountain bikers and travelling riders, with either half board or self-catering.

Culture and History

There are three churches in Labretonie, including the Église Saint-Martin de Labretonie. The present church was rebuilt at its current location from 1871 to 1876. It has a single-nave layout, side chapels forming a false transept, a polygonal-ended choir and a bell-tower porch projecting from the exterior. Its walls are made of tuff rubble stone, while the bell tower is built of ashlar.

The ruins of the Abbaye de Pérignac lie in the wider regional surroundings of Labretonie.
