History and Architectural Heritage
The entire Tour des remparts area was listed as a protected historic site in 1952. The Église Saint-André-de-Carabaisse preserves architectural elements from the 12th century, including a walled-up Romanesque portal in the south wall of the nave.
The municipal bell tower was built in 1637 at one corner of the central square, on medieval arcades with covered arcades. During roof restoration at the end of the 20th century, a moon-phase clock was installed.
