Culture and history
The bastide of Villefranche-du-Queyran was founded by Edward I in 1280. Villefranche-du-Queyran's historic sights include very old half-timbered houses. The castle of Villefranche-du-Queyran dates from the 16th century and was remodelled in the 18th century.
The nave and bell gable of the Église Saint-Savin were rebuilt in the 14th century. The choir of the Église Saint-Savin contains around twenty capitals; almost all are figurative and often heavily damaged.
The Église Notre-Dame was built in the 15th century and has been renovated several times since then. The Église Notre-Dame contains six circular paintings on canvas depicting sacred scenes, attributed to Masutti.

The Tèrra-Aventura trail “La conjuration du renard” is a walking treasure hunt in which visitors can discover the local cultural heritage and local anecdotes in a playful way. The ruins of the Abbaye de Pérignac are located in the wider region around Villefranche-du-Queyran.
