Trémons: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Water and Paths

The Cale de Moudoulens has a sloped slipway and a floating pontoon. It provides local access to the Lot and forms part of navigation on the Lot.

A nature-oriented riverside path begins at the Cale de Moudoulens, follows the riverbank and leads to the area opposite the Moulin de Lustrac. The 23-kilometre hiking trail also includes sections along the Lot and offers beautiful viewpoints.

Culture and History

The Church of Sainte-Quitterie is a rustic Romanesque building from the 11th century or the early 12th century. The Church of Sainte-Quitterie in Moudoulens stands on a pech with steep sides and overlooks the Lot Valley.

The Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Trémons was designated as a Prieuré-Cure in 1601. It contains painted scenes from the Gospel in the choir and nave. Older building elements are visible on the northern wall of the nave; traces of arched windows appear to date from the 16th century.

Protected Sites

The protected site Site de Lustrac extends across Trémons and Trentels; Trémons is located on the southern bank of the Lot.

The Site de Lustrac includes the architectural ensemble comprising the château, fortified mill and part of the hamlet of Lustrac, as well as a section of the Lot and the southern slopes of the Lot.

Local Traditions

Traditional drying ovens for plums of the Prune d'Ente variety are still preserved on some farms around Trémons.

Animalaine guides visitors through the parks to alpacas, Pyrenean goats, a horse, a donkey, cats and dogs. A visit to Animalaine includes an introduction to wool and its individual preparation stages. The Animalaine boutique sells wool, other alpaca-related products, wine and eau-de-vie.
