Trentels: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
To the south, Trentels borders the Lot River for approximately seven kilometres; at the same time, the municipality comprises both flatlands and hilly terrain. This landscape is complemented by historic buildings and a range of water-based and outdoor activities.
Culture
The Château de Lustrac was built to defend the mill and a ford. It forms a quadrilateral defensive system with a square tower at each corner. Its façades and roofs have been partially listed as a Monument historique since 1 February 1988.
The Moulin de Lustrac is also partially listed as a Monument historique. The protection covers the façades and roofs, the millrace with its sluice, and the weir up to the centre line of the river.
What remains of the medieval Église paroissiale Saint-Christophe is the crossing of the former transept with a bell-tower structure above it. Based on its sculptural decoration, this surviving section can be dated to the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries. In Ladignac, the Église paroissiale Saint-Jean has preserved most of its Romanesque masonry, which probably dates from the 12th century.
The Lustrac site also extends into the municipality of Trémons on the left bank of the Lot and was placed under protection on 14 May 1982. In the wider regional surroundings of Trentels lies Château de Bonaguil, a castle. Église Saint-Sardos et Sainte-Anne de Laurenque, a church, is also located near Trentels. The Abbaye de Pérignac, a ruined abbey, is likewise situated in the wider regional surroundings.
Landscape

Base nautique de Lustrac offers canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals in Lustrac. The Ecluse de Lustrac is an automatic lock on the right bank between the Moulin de Lustrac and a 13th-century château.
