Masquières: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture and History

The protected site of “Tombeau des Géants” comprises three rows of stones and two tumuli; it was placed under protection by decree of 17 April 1952. In the section of forest along the route through the Verdus forest near Masquières, there are also the remains of the covered megalithic passage “Tombeau des Géants”, a prehistoric megalith.
A square tower remains from Château du Bosc, dating from the 16th century. The château has a private chapel at the end of its right wing. The church of Saint-Vincent in Masquières also bears witness to a long history: it was built in 1240, has a wooden roof structure and was formerly the chapel of a priory affiliated with Moissac Abbey.
