Sainte Livrade Sur Lot: Holiday apartments and houses

Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot lies on the Lot in a fertile valley and along the route of a Roman road. The town was established as a bastide in 1289.

Location and history

The Église Sainte-Livrade is protected as a historic monument; the corresponding protection was established by a decree dated 20 July 1908. The main apse and the northern side apse of the 12th-century Église Sainte-Livrade have been preserved. The nave was added in the 14th century.

Another historic institution in the town is the CAFI in Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot, the Centre d'Accueil des Français d'Indochine, which is still in existence.

Water and cycling

By prior arrangement, Base aviron Sainte Livrade offers canoe trips of 6, 9 or 17 kilometres, including a designated picnic break and a minibus return to the starting point of the tour. For half a day, it also enables visitors to combine stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, rowing and pedal boating.

By prior arrangement, Base aviron Sainte Livrade rents VTC bicycles and child trailers for half-day or full-day rides on cycle routes or downloadable circular routes.

The Vallée du Lot à Vélo route offers a variant between Clairac and Villeneuve-sur-Lot along the north bank, with a greenway. It passes through Granges-sur-Lot, Le Temple-sur-Lot and Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot.

Market

The Marché de Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot takes place every Friday morning all year round and is considered the second-largest market in the Lot-et-Garonne département.
