Sembas: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The GR® 652, a Way of St. James route via Le Puy-en-Velay, passes through Sembas and uses part of the Sembas loop, la boucle de Lacenne.

History and architecture
Lacenne was founded as a bastide in 1283 by the King of England and the Abbot of Pérignac. The bastide of Lacenne was built near a church that had been erected on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa.
The first bay and two side chapels forming a transept of the Saint-Cybar de Sembas church were built at the beginning of the 16th century. The apse of the church appears to date from the Middle Ages.
The Maison forte de Lassalle is dated to the late 13th or early 14th century based on the place name La Salle and the masonry. It has a masonry-built well that provides protected access to the spring at a lower level.
The Château de Lacenne is arranged around an enclosed courtyard with a residential building at the rear. Access was through a dovecote gateway that has since been demolished.
Paths and landscape
The Sembas loop, la boucle de Lacenne, is 9.6 km long. It connects the town hall near Lacenne with the church of the same name and the church of Sembas.
The loop runs along a ridge path with views of the hamlet of Lacenne and the free-standing bell tower of the church of Sembas.
The Saint-Cybar de Sembas church stands on the Plateau de Serres among plum trees.
