Circular trail 442 starts at Place du Basket in the centre of Tombeboeuf and is 7.2 km long. The route from Tombeboeuf to Montastruc follows the shores of Lac du Loubet, reaches the Montastruc viewpoint with a 360-degree panorama, and passes through Bois des Farinelles.

Nature
Moulin de la Ville was awarded the departmental “Espace Naturel Sensible” designation in 2011. The 12-hectare natural area features preserved wet meadows, riparian forests and mesophilic grasslands with orchids. The Chêne de Tombeboeuf oak has been classified as a remarkable tree since 2003.
Culture and History
The Notre-Dame church stands on a terrace connected to the hillside on which Tombeboeuf is situated. From the late Middle Ages until the French Revolution, the church belonged to a priory dependent on Clairac Abbey.
The castle of Tombeboeuf was mentioned in 1327. The surviving sections of wall support the castle platform and appear to date from the rebuilding after the Hundred Years’ War.
The Tombeboeuf fountain was built in the 19th century after the model of the Wallace fountains in Paris. The Tombeboeuf plum-drying oven is one of the few such ovens still visible in the region.
