Culture

History

In 1577, Marie de Verdun, the wife of the late Charles de Montferrand, Seigneur of Cancon, gave her daughter Marguerite the “noble house and château” of Moulinet, together with its appurtenances separated from the former lordship of Valens.

The new residential building of the Château de Moulinet was built in 1708 and incorporated a square pavilion and an attached keep.

The Château de Moulinet is privately owned and cannot be visited.
