Culture

The Saint-Pierre d’Orival church was listed as a historic monument by decree of 22 December 2022. The Saint-Germain site includes a 12th-century chapel. The foundations of the castle’s fortifications can be seen on Rue du Lô. The former outbuildings of the castle are located on the same street; servants and staff once lived there.

Laroque-Timbaut’s clock tower, the Tour de l’Horloge, formerly served as a watchtower. The contemporary sculptor Gertrude Schoen prefers steel, stainless steel and other metals for her sculptures.
