Culture

Château de Ferrassou was built over a period spanning the 14th to the 16th century. Two towers of the château are classified as historic monuments, while the remaining older parts are listed as protected structures. The square tower contains a spiral staircase.

The parish church of Saint-Sylvestre is a Neo-Romanesque building made of dressed limestone. It has a four-storey, projecting bell tower with an octagonal masonry spire.

The church of Saint-Aignan was built towards the end of the 16th century. Its capitals, corbels and vault keystones are sculpted with plant motifs. The church and the former presbytery adjoining it to the west crown a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. A large cross at the entrance to Rue du Lot dates from the 17th century and commemorates the end of a plague epidemic.

The site of the church of Saint-Marcel and its surroundings, including the former cemetery, has been listed as a protected site since 3 October 1944. The west façade appears to date from the late 15th century; the pointed-arch, moulded portal has also been dated possibly to the mid-16th century.

In Saint-Sylvestre-sur-Lot, visitors can see a polychrome wooden statue from the 14th century depicting Saint Peter.
