Sainte-Bazeille: Holiday Apartments and Houses

The Musée archéologique André Larroderie has been open to the public since 1987 in Sainte-Bazeille’s former municipal baths. Its collections cover prehistory, the Iron Age, the Gallo-Roman period, the Merovingian period, as well as the late and post-medieval periods.

The objects come from 30 years of local archaeological excavations and research. A permanent exhibition entitled “Vingt ans de recherche dans le Marmandais” presents more than 700 objects.

The Église Notre-Dame was rebuilt between 1890 and 1901 according to plans by the Agenais architect Albert Courau. Its belfry dates from the 15th century.
