Le Mas-d’Agenais is situated on a limestone terrace overlooking the Garonne. In the heart of the town stands the Vieille halle au blé, which was apparently built in 1616 using old beams from the former château. It has been listed as a historic monument since 6 April 2022.

History
The Chapelle Saint-Benoît is a remnant of the former convent of the Dames de Saint-Benoît, founded in 1645, and features a richly decorated Baroque interior. The historic townscape also includes the five-sided Fontaine-lavoir Galiane washhouse, supplied by a spring known since antiquity.
Culture
The Collégiale Saint-Vincent dates largely from the 12th century. Its chevet comprises an apse and two apsidioles with numerous sculpted modillions; the church is also classified as a historic monument.
Rembrandt’s painting “Le Christ sur la Croix” is housed in the Collégiale Saint-Vincent. The “Rembrandt – Les Secrets d'un tableau” experience explains how the painting came to Le Mas-d’Agenais. The Collégiale Saint-Vincent is open to visitors free of charge; guided tours are available by appointment only.
Water
The Canal de Garonne near Le Mas-d’Agenais has a lock and a nautical mooring for boat travellers. The “La Massaise” boat trip starts at the Cale du club de Canoë in Le Mas-d'Agenais and lasts one hour, including boarding and disembarking.
