Nature
The Marais de Sacy is Oise’s largest wetland and has RAMSAR and Natura 2000 status. It contains wet meadows, reed beds and peat bogs. More than 200 bird species have been recorded there. The area lies along the Trans’Oise section of the V16 Avenue Verte London Paris. The Sentier du Marisque is described as a two-kilometre loop in this wetland.
Culture
The Musée de la Nacre et de la Tabletterie showcases the production of mother-of-pearl buttons using an authentic steam-powered machine. Its interactive collections range from fans to shells. It is housed in a former 19th-century factory.

The Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Beauvais has been listed as a historic monument since 1840. Its current structure consists only of the beginning of a western nave and is mainly made up of the transept and choir. The vaults reach 48 metres. The astronomical clock contains around 90,000 parts, 52 dials and 68 automata. Admission is free; audio guides are available in five languages.
