Georges Paléologue de Bissipat probably built the Château d’Hannaches on the remains of an earlier fortified castle. The complex includes a farm with an interesting dovecote.
Jean and Charles, the two sons of Georges Paléologue de Bissipat, were buried in the village church of Hannaches. The Église Saint-Sulpice in Hannaches is a composite structure whose main construction phases date primarily from the 11th, 12th and 14th centuries.
