Clermont’s oldest surviving architectural monument is the donjon. It was built by the Counts of Clermont; its construction is estimated to have taken place between the second half of the 11th century and the beginning of the 12th century.

The Église Saint-Samson has been classified as a historical monument since 1921 and contains a classified organ case dating from 1622.
The Porte de Nointel has been classified as a historical monument since 22 March 1937. It is the last gate of Clermont’s former fortifications and is the only one that still has significant surviving masonry.
Clermont’s Hôtel de Ville is also classified as a historical monument, since 1874.

The Séraphine Louis cultural centre hosts art exhibitions, themed exhibitions and conferences. It is located at the foot of the remains of the eastern side of the medieval donjon of the Counts of Clermont.
