The existence of the Saint-Léger Church is documented in a charter from 1122 issued by King Louis VI, known as Louis the Fat. Its eastern sections were reconstructed around the middle of the 12th century at the instigation of the canons of Saint-Mellon de Pontoise. In 1926, the church was listed as a historic monument, with the exception of the nave.
