The Church of Sainte-Geneviève is listed in France’s supplementary register of historic monuments. Its choir may date from the late 12th century. The nave was rebuilt in the 16th century, incorporating the south wall of the previous building.
Culture and history
In the 19th century, several fan makers lived in Sainte-Geneviève. Fans produced in Sainte-Geneviève were known at all the European royal courts. The Lesieur-Lesbroussart fan factory is one of the few industrial witnesses to this activity in Sainte-Geneviève.
With its brick and flint houses, Sainte-Geneviève is described as a typical village in the south of Picardy.
The Hermes–Beaumont railway line ran through Sainte-Geneviève and had a stop at Sainte-Geneviève-Bonvillers station. It operated from 1879 to 1949.

Mont Sainte-Geneviève is part of the chalky Falaise du Thelle.
Routes and events
The “Sainte Geneviève et les hameaux de Cauvigny” route is a 9.2-kilometre circular walking trail. One of its highlights is the Bois de l'Hôtel Dieu.
Around 300 exhibitors take part in Sainte-Geneviève’s well-known flea market on the first Sunday of every June.
