The landscape includes the Marais du Lys, a protected wetland in the Natura 2000 network. The Marais du Lys is home to the marsh spurge, which is considered an endangered plant species in the Hauts-de-France region. The area is also home to the protected dragonfly species Mercury bluet. There are several access points to the Île de la Thève.
Culture
The Church of Saint Nicholas in Lamorlaye retains a figurative stained-glass window depicting the Annunciation, dating from 1540. The former hamlet of Lys is home to the Chapelle Saint Vaast, which is surrounded by an old cemetery. The townscape also includes more than 40 stables and equestrian centres.
