Along the quay of the small harbour on the side canal of the Oise stands a row of small houses belonging to boatmen. The buildings have two or three façade bays and, in some cases, a full storey.

Culture and history
The Église de l’Assomption Notre-Dame was rebuilt on the foundations of the former church, which had been destroyed in 1918 during the Battle of Mont-Renaud. In doing so, it retained its dimensions and a similar floor plan.
The Notre-Dame de l’Assomption church comprises a 14th-century choir, a 16th-century transept, a modern nave and a western bell-tower porch. The side altars feature mosaics in the typical Art Deco style, complemented by colourful stained-glass windows in the tripartite window ensemble at the end of the choir.
The tomb slab depicts a praying female figure in a Gothic architectural niche with two incense-swinging angels and six praying figures.
Paths and landscape
The Voie douce from Sempigny or Pont-l'Évêque to Appilly is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists, roller skaters and wheelchair users. It offers views of the Oise floodplain meadows and the wooded hills of the Pays Noyonnais.
The Mont des Singes hill is located near Pont-l'Évêque. In the wider regional area are the hills of Mont Ganelon, Mont du Tremble and Mont Saint-Marc.
