Belle-Eglise: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

History and Culture

The Le Marais archaeological site extends partly across the municipality of Belle-Église. It includes a Carolingian water mill considered unique of its kind in France. The site was home to a Gallo-Roman villa that was used from the 1st to the 4th century AD.

The Romanesque Church of Saint-Martin preserves the base of a former bell tower dating from the 11th century. At the same time, it is a medieval monument with numerous construction phases.

The Château de L'Isle-Adam is located in the vicinity of Belle-Église.
