Fay-Les-Étangs: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

There used to be ponds south of Fay-les-Étangs, but they have since been drained. Wells were created in the area of the former ponds for growing watercress. The River La Troesne runs through Fay-les-Étangs.

History and architectural heritage
The nave of the Church of Saint-Vaast in Fay-les-Étangs dates from the end of the 11th century. In the 16th century, the church was given a new choir with two bays and a flat chevet; the windows illuminating it are in the Flamboyant Gothic style.
On the southern side of the base of the bell tower of the Church of Saint-Vaast is a chapel, presumably used by the seigneurial estate, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.
The historic site of Abbaye de Gomerfontaine and Château d'Alincourt are located in the vicinity of Fay-les-Étangs.
