Nature and trails

In Studénka, the Kotvice educational trail runs through meadows, floodplain forest, ponds, pools, water channels and along the Odra. The route is easy and suitable for children. Part of the Kotvice educational trail passes through the Kotvice Nature Reserve, which is an important nesting site for waterfowl. The educational trail is just under 6 km long.

The Krajinou povodní educational trail lies between Jeseník nad Odrou and Suchdol nad Odrou. For cyclists, the Okolo-Poodří cycle route follows the eastern edge of the protected landscape area from Ostrava to Jeseník nad Odrou and runs mostly along the Krakow–Vienna Greenways cycle route. Culture and history

Kunín Chateau is a significant Baroque chateau in North Moravia and Silesia. It was built between 1725 and 1734 by the architect Jan Lukáš Hildebrandt. Both floors of the chateau are accessible to wheelchair users with assistance.

The Novojičínsko Museum has nine publicly accessible branches. It documents the region’s nature and society with collections on geology, archaeology, history, ethnography, art, textiles and fashion.
