The “Po stopách generála Laudona” educational trail leads in Šenov u Nového Jičína to the Bannerova studánka spring. The Bannerova studánka spring rises near the Salaš Hotel in Šenov u Nového Jičína. A forest near the Bannerova studánka spring offers views of the surrounding landscape. The “Po stopách generála Laudona” educational trail, or part of it, can be covered using the regular bus service between Nový Jičín and Kunín.
Culture and History
Šenov u Nového Jičína has a memorial to the victims of the First and Second World Wars. It was created by Franz Barwig, an honorary citizen of Šenov u Nového Jičína. The Church of St Martin is occasionally accessible on Thursdays and Sundays during services.
The chapel in Šenov u Nového Jičína was reconstructed in 1989 and ceremonially consecrated in May 1991; it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The Šenovský škrpál community festival takes place every year in August.
