The Bílovecko–Dolní louky cycle route, which is 28 km long, and the Bílovecko–Kolem 18. poledníku cycle route, which is 47 km long, run through Tísek.

Culture and history

The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius, is a listed landmark and the dominant feature of Tísek. The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius was consecrated by Archbishop Přečan on 22 July 1928. The Vildštejn ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek.

Nature and activities

The yellow-marked Jamník–Údolí Niva hiking trail leads south from Tísek to Bílovec and north to the Panský Mlýn trail junction near Kyjovice. The Jamník fishing waters are designated as the ČRS non-trout fishing ground No. 471 145. Anglers from outside the area may fish in the Jamník fishing waters only with a fishing permit issued by the Tísek Municipal Office.

The Oderské vrchy Nature Park is part of the Nízký Jeseník. Mečník Hill [Těškovice] is located in the immediate vicinity of Tísek, while Podklan Hill [Ostrava - Zbyslavice] is located in the vicinity of Tísek. Mount Přílet is located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek; Mount Vinná hora is likewise located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek.
