Luboměř: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The present-day Church of St. Lawrence in Luboměř dates from 1777; its interior is designed in the Late Baroque style. At the western edge of the Luboměř cadastral area, the Něčínský stream flows, which, together with other bodies of water, forms the source area of the Oder.

Culture and History

The Church of St. Lawrence was formerly a pilgrimage church. Christmas concerts have been held there for several years, linking the historic sacred building with the local events calendar.

Heltínov is a district of Luboměř and lies in the western part of the Oderské vrchy Nature Park. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity was added there in 1800. Its two interior walls feature depictions of the Stations of the Cross, with a total of 14 stations.

Landscape and Nature

Biskupova skála was probably originally used for slate quarrying, after which the slate was used for the roofs of local residents' houses. In a small cave in Biskupova skála, beautiful ice stalactites can form through seepage water, especially in spring and under favorable climatic conditions.

Jindřichovský vrch is a mountain in the vicinity of Luboměř. In the wider regional surroundings of Luboměř are Vildštejn, a ruin, as well as the mountains Růžový Kopec and Stráž. Horka is a mountain in the vicinity of Luboměř.

Trails, Sports and Events

A green-marked hiking trail runs through Luboměř. The Na drahách leisure area offers opportunities to play football, volleyball and tennis. Football tournaments, fire brigade sports competitions, dance events, pilgrimages and community festivals take place on the grounds.

A major fire brigade sports competition is held annually in Luboměř on the local festival Sunday around 10 August, the feast day of St. Lawrence.
