Nature and Trails
The Beskydské nebe educational trail is located on the Horečky hills, on the border between Frenštát pod Radhoštěm and Trojanovice. It has eight stations and includes an 85-metre-long accessible treetop path that is open seasonally. The excursion on the Beskydské nebe educational trail is designated as a hiking and cycling excursion and covers 3.4 km from the car park near the ski jumping hill and back to this car park.
Leisure and Winter
Aquapark Frenštát offers a multi-purpose pool and a swimming pool, heated water, refreshments, seating and a volleyball court. The aquapark also includes a children's pool. There is also a 60-metre-long, 5.8-metre-high water slide and a two-lane water slide with a slide length of 13.1 metres.
The ski jumping hill complex on the Horečky hills was built in the 1960s. In 1968, the first hill with a K-point of 43 m was built, followed in 1969 by two more hills with K-points of 72 m and 90 m. Since 1973, GRAND PRIX ski jumping competitions have been held there regularly. In Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, Jiří Raška is particularly associated with the complex on the Horečky hills and the ski jumping hills in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.
Culture
The parish church of St Martin in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm is registered as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and is regularly used for services, concerts and other events. The single-nave building, designed in the Baroque style, has a projecting square tower with a bulbous dome and Rococo furnishings.
The Frenštát pod Radhoštěm Museum has nine exhibitions on its individual floors, as well as three exhibition halls on the ground floor for temporary exhibitions, lectures and audiovisual programmes. Visits are possible without a guide; texts in foreign languages are also available. The town hall tower in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm is usually opened to the public during the tourist season and serves as a lookout tower with views of the Beskids panorama.
