In the Municipality of Višnjan, historic places meet trails through the Istrian landscape and an observatory with a scientific focus. It is known for its 14th-century frescoes and graffiti, including Glagolitic inscriptions.

Other churches add their own historical accents: the small Church of Saint Matthew in Cerion was built in 1588. Its façade, including the bell gable and two bells, was renovated in 1935. The Church of Saint James in Bačva dates from 1628 and was built on the site of an earlier church. In Markovac stands the 14th-century Church of Saint Helen of the Cross. The Church of Saint Pantaleon in Tičan dates from the 17th century and was also built on the site of an earlier church. The Church of All Saints, also known as the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, dates from 1530 and is located in a cemetery.

Landscape, Wine and Cycling
