Pršurići: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At Misal in Pršurići, the vineyards lie at an altitude of 230 metres, cover five hectares and grow in red soil. Traditional bottle ageing is used for the sparkling wines; the local grape varieties include Malvasia and Teran. The tasting room accommodates 25 to 30 people. All visits to the producer must be booked in advance. Appointments are offered on weekday mornings, as well as visits on Saturdays by arrangement; the winery is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

History

The Peršurić family has been involved in viticulture for more than five centuries. Đordano Peršurić, the initiator of Misal sparkling wine production, returned to Pršurići and began producing still wines together with his father.

Nature

Nearby is Sovina staza, a 7.7-kilometre circular route for families. The route includes two viewpoints overlooking the sea and Ćićarija.

Cycle Paths

An underpass in Pršurići connects to the Parenzana walking and cycling route. In the relevant municipality, the Parenzana has been signposted for cyclists and pedestrians since 2002.

The Vrsar–Višnjan–Parenzana–Poreč–Funtana–Vrsar cycling route recommends the Misal sparkling wine cellar as a stop in Pršurići. After Višnjan, the route joins the Parenzana cycling trail towards Poreč; via Jehnici, Pršurići and Bačva, it continues towards Višnjan.

Municipality

Pršurići is also part of the Municipality of Višnjan. Visitors can find historical heritage, food and drinks from local producers, as well as opportunities for stargazing there.
