Culture
A permanent exhibition in Tićan next to the Višnjan Observatory displays models of Earth and the Moon at a scale of 1:21,600,000. The Kameni krug installation in Tićan is a functional reconstruction of a prehistoric sanctuary and solar observatory. The Astro Night programme includes an astronomy lecture, a guided tour of the observatory and dome, weather-dependent observation of celestial bodies with an amateur telescope, and a laser-assisted tour of the constellations. In Višnjan, the Gothic Chapel of Saint Anthony dates from the 15th century. Astrofest is traditionally held at Tićan near Višnjan at the summer solstice.
Cycling
The 101 KM I JEDAN TARTUF route runs between Karojba and Radovani through Štuti. It is classified as a road cycling route and has an estimated riding time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
The Istra Bike Trail of Stars runs through the Dubrava forest, where old bauxite mining sites remain visible as deep pits along the road. The route is considered easy and suitable for younger and less experienced cyclists.
Hiking
The signposted Sovina staza hiking route runs for 7.7 km from Višnjan via Deklevi and Kočići to Tićan and back. It includes the Vena viewpoint, with views of the sea, Učka, Ćićarija, the Julian Alps and the Dolomites on clear days. Sovina staza also includes a chapel with a preserved Istrian threshing floor.
A named moderate hiking loop called Lavender and Olive Farm–Tičan Observatory begins in Štuti. It is 9.64 km long and includes approximately 130 m of ascent and descent.
Nature
A downy oak near the turn-off to the Tićan site on county road Ž-5042 in Štuti is protected as a natural monument.
