Trails
The Venetian Lion Trail leads through historic Višnjan in the Municipality of Višnjan, passes under the Venetian lion arch and continues to the old village of Barat. The trail is 4.5 kilometres long and takes about 2.5 hours.
The Star Trail runs through Višnjan, along forest paths, through vineyards and surrounding villages towards Tičan. It is considered suitable for families and those seeking relaxation.
The Parenzana is a 123-kilometre cycling and hiking trail along the route of a former narrow-gauge railway from Trieste to Poreč, passing through Višnjan. Along the route, there are rest areas where travellers can take a break and obtain information.
Culture
The Tičan Observatory complex is considered a destination for people interested in stars and science, as well as for school trips. Astrofest was held there in connection with the summer solstice and included stargazing.

Agritourism establishments in the Višnjan area open their homes and properties to visitors in order to share Istrian customs, flavours, scents and ways of life.
