Hiking and Cycling Trails
The Camí de la Creu is a Way of the Cross from the 17th century featuring sculptures, leading as far as Riupedròs. The Ruta de los Carantos is a circular hike from Vilaller through the Els Carantos landscape. This landscape comprises rock crevices, cavities and rock formations; the associated legends of witches are linked to it.
The Camino del Obago is a botanical educational trail in the town of Vilaller. Along the one-kilometre route, information boards provide details about representative plant species of the valley.
Nature and Sky
Vilaller is located on the outskirts of Parc Nacional d’Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. The Mirador dels Estels de Vilaller is a viewpoint for observing the night sky in the upper part of the town. There, the viewpoint has an interpretive panel and orientation elements for identifying stars and constellations.
The astronomical observatory of Vilaller complements the Mirador dels Estels and is a point of interest for astronomy enthusiasts. The Parc de les Olors–Prat de Sala offers sensory experiences in Vilaller featuring aromatic, culinary and medicinal plants.
History
The Vila Closa is the oldest part of Vilaller. It preserves the structure of a medieval mountain village. Its compact street layout reflects its former enclosed and protective function. The Vila Closa is ideal for a peaceful stroll and for experiencing the traditional architecture of a mountain village.
The Puente Viejo is a stone bridge from the 17th century. The Puente Viejo de Vilaller is an important cultural heritage site on the Noguera Ribagorzana River. In the past, it connected the main town with the Barrio de Aragón.
Sant Climent de Vilaller is the municipality’s main church and a prominent element of its historical and cultural heritage. The Om del Trinquet stands on Carrer del Trinquet within Vilaller.
Festivals and Churches
The Festa Major of Mare de Déu de Riupedròs is celebrated on 16 August. It includes a mass at the sanctuary of Mare de Déu de Riupedròs. The Festa de Santa Llúcia includes a procession and a mass at the hermitage of Riupedròs.
In Vilaller, the Falles are carried continuously. They have the shape of a large, inverted pyramid, are bound with wire and filled with pine splints.

Surroundings
The immediate surroundings of Vilaller include the Esglesia de Sant Climent, the Esglesia de Sant Esteve de Ginast and the Pilaret de Sant Urbà. The surrounding area is home to the peaks of Furcat, Pico Gelada, Pic de Planamorrons and el Corronco.
