Rapún is a clear example of the traditional architecture of Serrablo: the traditional houses feature façades with balconies and funnel-shaped chimneys. The Church of San Félix in Rapún is a Romanesque church from the 12th century. The first documentary mention of Rapún dates from December 1051; in it, the place appears under the medieval spelling Arrapun.
